Kerikeri Peninsula
Our project area covers 1,750 hectares on the Kerikeri Peninsula including two DoC reserves, farmland and residential housing. We work across trapping, monitoring and community survey to protect what lives here.
The work
Four kiwi have been killed by cars on our 10km stretch of peninsula roading in 2022. Taking a few minutes more to reach our destination may save a kiwi's life.
